CANDYLAND: MIXED MEDIA PLAYGROUND

Workshop mixed media collage art with Gurb (Smokinggurb) and Alkan (Studio Kartal) 

1st half we will work on analog collages, where Gurb will help with placement & composition. We brought old comics, magazines, stickers and newspapers to get you started. You’re more than welcome to bring your own pictures and magazines to incorporate in the artwork as well.

2nd half we turn your analog collage into a mixed media artwork. We provide paint, markers, pastels, and other art tools. You’re allowed to paint, but paintbrushes are mot allowed. You can use a toothbrush, a sponge, your hands, anything you can think of, except paintbrushes. 

The goal of this workshop is to stimulate our inner child with out of the box thinking while creating art, it will be a day of feeling like a kid again, creating unique, creative artworks.
