What is art? This is one of the artist's earliest works, questioning the nature of art and the artist's own legitimacy.
 
Did you know you can not insure art unless you go through a process of hiring a tax representative and that if you were to insure your art they tend to only do so based off of the raw material costs? It shows that art is subjective to who is viewing it, but is also a reminder that art is not perceived as a tangible field of work to the system with a range of value.
 
Artists not only have to question whether what they create can fit into the definition of ‘art’ but also what its worth is. The term ‘art’ is multi-faceted and is a nice challenge to the viewer to see if they can open up their perspective.
