Abstract Texture Painting Workshop

Join us in an art workshop which we will also be mindful in connecting to our experience in creating. The inspiration of this workshop will also come from nature as we verge into the spring. 

Anastasia uses her own experiences as an artist to help guide others in this optionally 3-part workshop. It is possible to join at any time, it just depends if you want to have a finished piece with guidance for all 3 to further develop, or, if you are happy to take your piece home and continue to finish it all in one go.

We will be working with acrylic paint, sand, modeling paste, acrylic ink, and maybe more - and on a 29x29cm canvas. Be ready to discover different tools and mediums (from scapels, brushes, etc). 

Anastasia is a scientist who serendipitously discovered the healing power of art as she navigated the challenges of hearing loss and depression during her PhD in 2021. In essence, her journey echoes Thoreau's timeless wisdom: ‘Not until we are lost do we begin to find ourselves.’ Anastasia channels her creativity into abstract art, employing layers of acrylic paint that mirror her meditative and intuitive creative process. What began as a creative form of self-therapy organically evolved into an inspiring journey of self discovery. Over the past year, Anastasia courageously shared her artistic creations through exhibitions—a testament to the transformative power of art and a reminder that the path to profound self-discovery often winds through the landscapes of losing oneself.
